Greetings,
I realize that Wikia software isn't as good as that on Wikipedia. Nonetheless, if we can make templates such as "World's Oldest Person" titleholders, it would helpful.Ryoung122 (talk) 21:00, November 25, 2015 (UTC)
Are you referring to the succession boxes that were used to indicate a titleholder (WOP, WOM, or oldest from a certain country) that were present on wikipedia pages for supercentenarians, until recently, that is,
Succession boxes are a great idea, as well.
But what I'm talking about here is a "World's Oldest Person" template that lists the names of all the titleholders since 1955, with a link to their article, that can also fit at the bottom of the page of, for example, an article on Eva Morris.
Let me say this: I didn't create the template on Wikipedia. If I did, it would have been labelled "World's Oldest Person titleholders".
Also, we have a "World's Oldest Person titleholder" category, but so far only 4 titleholders have been properly included.
I've been considering trying to add something similar to a succession box to this wiki for a while now, the only problem being that i'm not sure if such a thing exists on wiki, and if it does, how to implement it into the pages on this wiki.
With regards to the WOP template, i'll get to work adding the "World's Oldest Living Person Title Holders" category to all the relevant pages. That way, links to pages of WOP title holders will be consolidated into a single page, for ease of access.
We can create navigation boxes.
I created this: Template:Titleholders-oldest-living
