Ada Florence Freeman (28 December 1885 – 28 May 1996) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Ada Freeman was born in Weatherford, Texas, United States of America on 28 December 1885. Ada was born to Albert Freeman (1845-1937) and Florence Fisher Freeman (1851-1931), and 3 siblings. In the 1890s, she moved to Colorado. In 1910, Ada lived with her parents in Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado, on North Weber Street. In 1920, Ada still lived in Colorado Springs with her parents, this time on North Nevada Avenue. On August 29 1924, Ada went on a trip to New York on the RMS Berengaria. In 1930, Ada still lived with her parents in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ada is a teacher in 1930 and they now live at 1011 North Weber Street (the house was either extremely remodeled or teared down and remade). In 1940, Ada lives alone after both of her parents passings, she is still a teacher. Ada still lives in Colorado Springs, this time on 431 North Cascade Avenue. In 1950, Ada STILL lives in Colorado Springs, this time on 431 West Platte Avenue, and in 1950 she works as a Spanish Teacher. On July 13, 1962, Ada went on a trip to New York at the age of 76, she flew with Qantas airlines.
In December 1995, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Ada Freeman died in Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado, United States on 28 May 1996, at the age of 110 years, 152 days.
