Ada Killian (née Werner; 1 August 1873 – 17 November 1985) was a validated American supercentenarian. At the time of her death, she was the world's sixth-oldest living person, behind Augusta Holtz, Ollie Bay, Mamie Eva Keith, Mary McKinney and Anna Eliza Williams.
Biography[]
Ada Killian was born Ada Werner in Laketon, Wabash County, Indiana on 1 August 1873. Her parents were Joseph and Elizabeth Werner. The family moved to Kansas when Ada was just a child. Ada married James Killian in Paola, Kansas, on 3 November 1897. They had no children and divorced between 1917 and 1920. Ada later moved to Missouri, then back to Kansas, then back to Missouri again.
Killian died in Marionville, Lawrence County, Missouri, USA, on 17 November 1985, at the age of 112 years, 108 days.
