Ada Persson (23 December 1909 – 8 March 2019) was a Swedish centenarian who was the oldest living woman in Sweden in 2019.
Biography[]
Ada Persson was born in Sweden on 23 December 1909. She became the oldest living woman in Sweden (and the second-oldest living person behind Carl Mattsson) after the death of Elvira Larsson on 16 January 2019.
Persson died in Hyssna, Vastra Gotalands lan, Sweden on 8 March 2019 at the age of 109 years, 75 days. She was the last surviving person in Sweden born in 1909, as well as the last woman from the 1900s decade. After Persson died, the oldest woman in Sweden became Flarid Lagerlund (1910–2022).
