Adela Ivancova [Slovak: Adela Ivančová] (née Križeová) (31 August 1886 – 13 January 1995) was a Croatian-born Slovakian centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Slovakia at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Adela Ivančová was born as Adela Križeová in Križevci, Koprivnica-Križevci County, Austria-Hungary (now Croatia), on 31 August 1886. At some point, she married, and had three children. Since 1948, she lived in Košice.
On 31 August 1986, she celebrated her 100th birthday, becoming a centenarian. At the age of 107, she had 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
On 19 June 1992, following the death of 106-year-old Anna Bednárová, she became the oldest known living person in Slovakia.
Adela Ivančová died in Košice, Košice Region, Slovakia, on 13 January 1995, at the age of 108 years, 135 days. Following her death, then 106-year-old Jozefína Bartizalová became the oldest known living person in Slovakia.
