Mabel Chedick (24 May 1912 – 16 April 2018), also known as Agatha Christopher, was a Grenadian centenarian who was the oldest living woman in Grenada.
Biography
Agatha Christopher was born on 24 May 1912 and grew up in the Historic Parish, St. Patrick. She had at least one sibling, Sydney Chedick. She had 11 children, with 5 girls and 2 boys alive in 2017. Nine of her children were: Nora, Kenneth, Veda, Ivan, Geraldine, Edith, Virginia, Yvette and Stella.
Christopher may have become the oldest woman in Grenada on 25 October 2014, then aged 102, following the death of 108-year-old Elaine Pivotte.
At the end of her life, she had 32 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 29 great-great-grandchildren, 44 great-great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-great-grandchild.
Agatha passed away on 16 April 2018 at the age of 105 years, 327 days.
