Agnes Bechtoldt (née Cordie; 28 May 1886 – 18 January 1998) was a validated American supercentenarian.

Biography

Agnes Bechtoldt was born as Agnes Mary Cordie in Belleville, Illinois, USA on 28 May 1886. Her parents were Dominick Cordie and Helen (née Lorber) Cordie. She had nine siblings.

She married Joseph E. Bechtoldt (1881–1964) at Cathedral of Saint Peter in Belleville, Illinois, USA on 25 October 1911. The couple had six children: Loretta, Joseph, Margaret, Dolores, Mildred, and Helen.

At the time of her death, she had 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Bechtoldt died at Mar Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah, Illinois, USA on 18 January 1998 at the age of 111 years, 235 days. Her age was validated by the Kestenbaum study.
