Agnes Brown (née Weston; 5 February 1892 – 11 February 2003) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest known person in the state of South Carolina at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Agnes Brown was born Agnes Weston in South Carolina on 5 February 1892. She later married a man with the surname Brown. Her claim was verified by B. Renee Ferguson and Robert Young and validated by the GRG on 1 February 2004, almost a year after her death.
Brown passed away in South Carolina on 11 February 2003 at the age of 111 years, 6 days.
