Agnete Vind Knudsen (20 June 1908 – 5 December 2017) was a Danish centenarian who was the second-oldest person in Denmark behind Karla Jensen when she died.
Biography
Agnete Vind Knudsen was born on 20 June 1908 in Hjarup, Kolding, Syddanmark, Denmark to parents Knud M Knudsen and Bodil Vind. Her father had a hotel on the German island of Sylt, and the family always went on holiday there. She never married nor had children.
Agnete's father died on 28 August 1963 aged 87. Her mother lived to be 98, dying on 22 June 1982. As a nonagenarian, she loved to travel. At the age of 99, she went to Mallorca for a holiday. At the age of 100, she went on holiday to Tenerife.
Agnete Knudsen died in Vamdrup, Kolding, Syddanmark, Denmark on 5 December 2017, at the age of 109 years, 168 days.
