Karen Margrethe Agnethe Fencker (née Markussen; 24 October 1910 – 7? April 2013) was a Greenlander centenarian and became the oldest person ever from Greenland when she surpassed the age of Malene Lund in 2012.
Biography[]
Agnethe Fencker was born as Karen Margrethe Agnethe Markussen in Qaarsut, Uummannaq, Qaasuitsup in Greenland on 24 October 1910. She became the oldest living person in Greenland on 15 August 2008, following the death of Charlotte Petersen. Fencker became a centenarian on 24 October 2010.
On 16 June 2012, Fenckner surpassed Malene Lund (1877–1979) to become Greenland's oldest person ever.
On 24 October 2012, Agnethe Fencker became the first Greenlander to reach 102 years old.
Fencker died in Ilulissat, Qaasuitsup, Greenland on 7? April 2013, at the age of 102 years, 159-188 (165?) days.
