Akiko Goto [Japanese: 後藤秋子] (1 September 1911 – 7 September 2021) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Akiko Goto was born in Japan on 1 September 1911. Following the death of 110-year-old Natsuyo Nagaoka on 17 February 2019, Goto became the oldest living person in Yamagata Prefecture.

In September 2021, Goto celebrated her 110th birthday.

Akiko Goto died in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan on 7 September 2021 at the age of 110 years, 6 days.
