Alberta Tarducci (8 November 1906 – 25 January 2017) was a Italian supercentenarian whose age was validated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2020.
Biography
Alberta Tarducci was born in a country house, between Firenze and Prato, Tuscany, Italy on 8 November 1906. She spent the entire life in the fields. Alberta married Vittorio Martini, who died in 1981. She had four children, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. At the age of 105-year-old she had an accident at the femur, which fractured, forcing her to be in the wheelchair.
Alberta Tarducci died in a nursing home in Tuscany, Italy on 25 January 2017 at the age of 110 years, 78 days.
