Alfred Samuel "Alfie" Date (8 November 1905 - 2 May 2016) was an Australian supercentenarian, who was the oldest living man in Australia[1] and the second oldest living person in Australia at the time of his death.
Biography
Date was born in London, England, on 8 November 1905. He moved with his parents, George and Harriet, to Australia in 1911, to escape the looming trouble in Europe.[2]
