Alice Mary Glor Meeder (née Langenstein; 29 September 1880 – 20 October 1991) was an unvalidated American supercentenarian.

Biography[]

Alice Meeder was born as Alice Langenstein on 29 September 1880 in Middlebury, Wyoming County, New York, USA to parents Bernard Langenstein and Cynthia (née Hedger) Langenstein McMahon. She had four siblings. She married Levi Lucius Glor in 1901. The couple had 8 children. Alice was granted a divorce from Levi by Justice James E Norton after her husband had left her for nearly six years and his whereabouts were unknown. The last time she saw him was on November 17, 1917 when he said he was going to look for work in Buffalo. She married John William Meeder in 1920. The couple had no children.

Alice Meeder died in Orlando, Orange County, Florida, USA on 16 October 1990 at the age of 111 years, 21 days. Her daughters, Florence Milliken (1904–2005) lived to be 101 and Alice Evelyn Stakel (1908–2014) lived to be 106.
