Constance Alicia Blanchet (née Reaux; 8 June 1867 – 9 November 1979) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Constance Alicia Reaux was born in Vermillion, Louisiana, USA on 8 June 1867 as the daughter of Antoine Reaux and Aurelia LeBlanc. She married Desire Blanchet on 28 December 1886 and had seven children. She was widowed in 1934. She only spoke French and lived in Louisiana for her entire life. She survived a gall bladder removal at the age of 105.
Alicia Blanchet died in New Iberia, Lafayette, Louisiana, USA on 9 November 1979 at the age of 112 years, 154 days.
