Amy Dixon (10 October 1910 – 4 May 2021) was a Jamaican supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2022.
Biography[]
Amy Dixon was born in Cambridge, St. Andrew, Jamaica on 10 October 1910. She not had siblings.
She worked at the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica. She did not have children. She moved to the Golden Age Home in 2003.
In October 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
She became the second-oldest known living person in Jamaica, following the death of 111-year-old Eslin Mulgrave-Collins on 15 February 2021. Five days later on 20 February 2021, she became the oldest known living person in Jamaica, following the death of 111-year-old Eunis Pryce.
Dixon died at the Golden Age Home in Vineyard Town, Kingston, Jamaica on 4 May 2021, at the age of 110 years, 206 days.
