Amy Mirelda Johnson (18 October 1907 – 6 June 2018) was a Jamaican-born British supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography
Amy Mirelda Johnson was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, in 1907. She was one of five sisters. In February 1961, Johnson moved to Cumbria, England, to live with her daughter Doreen Lee.
She lived in the village of Shap, Cumbria, England, UK where she turned 110 in October 2017. She died on 6 June 2018 at the age of 110 years, 231 days.
