Ana Cordeiro da Silva (21 July 1910 – 30 March 2023), known as "Ana da Benedita", was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Ana Cordeiro da Silva was born in Brazil on 21 July 1910. Her father died when she was young and she worked to help support her mother and siblings.

At circa 35 years, she married and had two children. Soon, her husband moved to Parana in search of work. He returned only once to see the family and communicated only by letters, after a few years he died. She lived alone until age 95 years.

In July 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday. As of July 2021, she had 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She outlived one grandchild.

Ana Cordeiro da Silva died in Fanadinho, Capelinha, Minas Gerais, Brazil on 30 March 2023 at the age of 112 years, 252 days.
