Ana Luisa Garcia de Villarini (born 22 August 1913) is a Puerto Rican supercentenarian who is currently the oldest known living person in Puerto Rico. Her age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Ana Luisa Garcia was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico on 22 August 1913. In 1933, she began working as a school teacher in the town of Patillas. She retired as a teacher in 1965, but she has never tired of learning.
In August 2023, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Following the death of 110-year-old Bienvenido Diaz Guilfu on 5 November 2023, she became the oldest known living person in Puerto Rico.
Ana Luisa Garcia currently lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the age of 111 years, 103 days.
