Angele "Geranise" Nitharum (8 October 1896 – 21 December 2006) was a French supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She lived in the French overseas territory of Martinique.
Biography[]
Angele Nitharum was born in Le Marigot, Martinique, France on 8 October 1896.
In October 2006, Nitharum celebrated her 110th birthday in Basse-Pointe, Martinique. At that time, her sister Adele (then aged 96) and her daughter Mauricie (then aged 92) were still alive.
Angele Nitharum died in Le Lamentin, Martinique, France on 21 December 2006, at the age of 110 years, 74 days. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest living person in Martinique, after Louise Bilon.
