Angelina Marcon-Lorenzon (10 December 1911 – 20 January 2023) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2024.

Biography[]

Angelina Marcon was born in Carbonera, Veneto, Italy on 10 December 1911, the youngest of 17 children of Rosa and Pietro Marcon. She moved to Spercenigo, San Biagio di Callalta in 1939.

She married Angelo Lorenzon in 1938. The couple had four children, one of whom died due to illness in infancy. Angelo died in 2006, after 68 years of marriage.

In 2021, at the age of 109, Marcon contracted COVID-19 during the coronavirus pandemic. She successfully recovered, making her one of the oldest known survivors of the disease.

In December 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday. As of December 2021, she had three living children Elda, Lidia and Loris, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Marcon died on 20 January 2023 in San Biagio di Callalta, Treviso, Veneto, Italy, at the age of 111 years, 41 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Veneto.
