Anica Radmilovic [Bosnian: Anica Radmilović] (née Vujovic; 17 December 1900 – 3 March 2009) was a Bosnian centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Anica Radmilovic was born in the village of Preraca, municipality of Bileca, Austria-Hungary, (present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 17 December 1900. Her maiden name was Vujovic, and she left behind five daughters, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. All her life she was engaged in rural affairs and little when she sought medical help.
She became the oldest known living person in Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the death of 105-year-old Safa Dedic on 1 March 2006.
Radmilovic died in the village of Baljci, municipality of Bileca, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she lived for more than 80 years, on 3 March 2009 at the age of 108 years, 76 days. Following her death, then 105-year-old Mara Kvrgic became the oldest known living person in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
