Anísio José da Costa ([– 23|1829/1830 – 23] April 1940) was a Brazilian ex-slave and supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

At age 90, Anisio married Brasilia, who was 25 years. He was a widower and already had three children. Anisio had seven more with Brasilia. He died on 23 April 1940 at the age of 110 years. In 2008, his two daughters were alive: Ines (age 84) and Helena da Costa (age 83).
