Ann Jemimia Flower (8 July 1885 – 9 August 1995) was a validated Dutch supercentenarian. She was the oldest known living person in The Netherlands when she died.
Biography
Ann Flower was born in Ellecom, Gelderland, The Netherlands on 8 July 1885. Her father was of British ancestry. She worked as a housekeeper, never marrying nor having children. Her mother lived to an advanced age, dying shortly before reaching the age of 101. On 16 September 1993, then aged 108, she became the oldest person in The Netherlands following the death of 111-year-old Johanna Zandstra-Giezen.
Ann Flower died in Rheden, Gelderland, The Netherlands, on 9 August 1995, at the age of 110 years, 32 days. Her successor as The Netherlands’ oldest person was Johanna van Dommelen-Hamer, then aged 109.
