Anna Cathrine Askham nee Mørkøre (5 March 1901 - 22 Apr 2005) was a Faroese centenarian who was the oldest living person on the Faroe Islands at time of death.

Biography

Anna Askham was born in Torshavn, Streymoy, Faroe Islands on 5 March 1901. Her parents were Jacob Christian Mørkøre and Johanna Sofia Mørkøre. She married Simon William (Simun) Askham and they had two children. Anna Askham died in Torshavn, Faroe Islands on 22 April 2005 at the age of 104 years and 48 days. After her death Margrethe Egholm became oldest living Faroese.
