Anna Jean-Pierre (20 April 1907 – 23 October 2017) was a Haitian-American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was one of the oldest known living people in Florida, USA.
Biography
Anna Jean-Pierre was born in Haiti on 20 April 1907. During her early adulthood, she owned a boutique, and was very proud to do so. Anna travelled a lot throughout her life, even meeting and kissing the Pope whilst visiting Italy. She married and had a daughter.
Anna moved to Cape Coral, Florida, USA in the late 1960s. As of her 110th birthday in 2017, her daughter was 82. Anna’s family say that each year they can celebrate her birthday is a blessing. She spoke French and English. Anna never smoked nor drank alcohol during her life.
Jean-Pierre died in Cape Coral, Florida, USA on 23 October 2017 at the age of 110 years, 186 days.
