Anna Michulkova (19 April 1894 – 13 June 2002) was a Slovakian centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Slovakia at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Anna Michulkova was born in Zilina, Austria-Hungary, (present-day Slovakia) on 19 April 1894 and lived all her life in the family house that she and her husband built in 1932. She raised five children and enjoyed the favor of twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She became the oldest known living person in Slovakia, following the death of 108-year-old Jozefina Bartizalova on 27 April 1997.
Michulkova died of heart failure at the Zilina hospital, Slovakia on June 13, 2002 at the age of 108 years, 55 days. Following her death, then 104-year-old Magdalena Skorvankova became the oldest known living person in Slovakia.
