Anna Roux (née Roux; 13 July 1895 – 25 December 2007) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the third-oldest living person in France, after Clementine Solignac and Marie-Louise L'Huillier.

Biography[]

Anna Roux was born in La Porcherie, Haute-Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France on 13 July 1895.

On 15 July 1913, she married Pierre Faye (1888–1915) in Saint-Germain-les-Belles, Haute-Vienne. They had at least one son (born in 1914).

In her last years, Roux lived with her daughter in Brive-la-Gaillarde. She received a personalized autonomy allowance. In 2007, she still had a sharp mind, and was able to peel the vegetables with her daughter.

Anna Roux died in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Correze, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France on 25 December 2007, at the age of 112 years, 165 days.
