Anna Traxler (née Glicksman; 4 January 1893 – 21 April 2003) was a British-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Anna Traxler was born as Anna Glicksman in England, UK on 4 January 1893. Her parents were Samuel Glicksman (1865–1937), born in present-day Lithuania according to Geni, and Jane Glicksman (née Rosenberg; 1875–1923), born in present-day Russia according to Geni. She had at least one sister, Rachel "Rae" Miller (née Glicksman; 1891–1987).

At some point of her life, she moved to the United States. She married Isadore Traxler (born 1892). They had at least a child, Jerome J. Traxler (1919–2011), who lived to age 96. Isadore Traxler died on 11 May 1981.

Anna Traxler died in Bayside, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States on 21 April 2003, at the age of 110 years, 107 days.

Her age was verified by Anson Davis, Robert Young, Waclaw Jan Kroczek, et al., and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 15 June 2016.
