Annette "Nanette" Faron (née Montmory; 15 February 1869 – 12 May 1979) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Annette Faron was born as Annette Montmory in Auzelles, Puy-de-Dome, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France, on 15 February 1869. She was the oldest of 11 children.
In 1893, she married Antonin Faron (1893–1935) in La Chapelle-Agnon, Puy-de-Dome. They had three sons; she lost two of them.
Faron made prayer beads during a long part of her life. In her last years, she lived in the house of her surviving son in Chamalieres.
Annette Faron died in Chamalieres, Puy-de-Dome, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France, on 12 May 1979, at the age of 110 years, 86 days. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest (known) living person in France, after Augustine Tessier.
