Annie Firlotte (née Dugre; 15 July 1841? – 14 July 1955?) was a Canadian supercentenarian claimant who claimed to be 113 years old in 1954. She is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Annie Firlotte was born as Annie/Anne Dugre in New Brunswick, Canada, on 15 July 1841. However, according to Canadian census matches, she may have been born in 1856. At an unknown time (likely in the 1870s), she married James Peter Firlotte, and they had three children: Jane, James Alexander "Alex", and Matthew. Her husband died in around 1927.
In 1951, Firlotte was reported to still attend mass at her local church every day. She also went on a trip to Campbellton, near to where she lived in New Brunswick, for her alleged 110th birthday. In 1954, she was reported to be living with her granddaughter. She never visited a dentist or a doctor. Only one of her children, James Alexander "Alex" Firlotte was alive in 1954; he was 74 years old.
Annie Firlotte was last confirmed alive on 16 July 1954 at the age of 113 years, 1 day, but according to her Find A Grave page, she died in 1955 in Jacquet River, Restigouche County, New Brunswick, Canada at the claimed age of 113 or 114 years. She had 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. According to her WikiTree page she died on 14 July 1955 at the age of 113 years and 364 days one day before her claimed 114th birthday.
