Annie Hill (3 October 1908 – 11 February 2019) was a British supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Annie Hill was born in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England, in 1908. She was one of nine or ten children (sources differ). She attended Love Lane School as a child before starting work at a bakery on Sessions House Yard in Pontefract, but spent the rest of her working life at sweet manufacturers Dunhills. She never married and had no children.
Hill lived in Pontefract for her entire life, and lived in a care home from 2012 onwards. She died on 11 February 2019 at the age of 110 years, 131 days.
