Anonymous of South Moravia (May 1908 – April 2017) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Little is known about the anonymous woman who lived in South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. According to data from the Czech Statistical Office and the Czech Pension Fund, between July 2016 and April 2017, the oldest living person in the country was a publicly unidentified woman born in May 1908 who was a resident of the South Moravian Region.
On 19 June 2016, following the death of 108-year-old Bedřiška Köhlerová, she became the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic.
An anonymous woman died in April 2017, at the age of 108, about a month before her 109th birthday. Moreover, the anonymous lady of South Moravian Region was the last known surviving person in the Czech Republic born in the 1900s decade. Following her death, then 107-year-old Květoslava Hranošová became the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic.
