Anselma Artusi (21 April 1910 – 11 September 2020) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2020.
Biography[]
Anselma Artusi was born in Forli, Emilia-Romagna, Italy on 21 April 1910. Her husband was Gino Cavattoni, who had left her a widow after a few years of marriage. They didn't had any children.
Artusi was very fond of travel and opera. During her life, she had visited Lake Garda several times, and had repeatedly participated in religious pilgrimages to Fatima and Lourdes.
Anselma Artusi died in Villa Serena nursing home, Forli, Emilia-Romagna, Italy on 11 September 2020, at the age of 110 years, 143 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Emilia-Romagna region.
