Anthony Cher (1901? – 5 May 2011) was a Singaporean supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Anthony Cher claimed that he was born in Singapore (then a British colony) in 1901. He had been a long-staying resident of the Institute of Mental Health prior to his death.
Anthony Cher died in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Yishun, North Region, Singapore on 5 May 2011 at the claimed age of 110 years. At the time of his death, he was believed to be one of the oldest living people in Singapore. Anthony Cher is one of four known male supercentenarian claims from Singapore, the oldest of whom is Yang Chiow Sen who claimed the age of 113.
