Antoinette Davis (née Anzalone; 1 March 1911 – 25 December 2021) was an Italian-born American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Antoinette Davis was born in Minturno, Lazio, Italy on 1 March 1911 to Mariano and Theresa Anzalone. She spent her childhood in Bridgeport, Connecticut with her 5 siblings, one older sister, two younger brothers and two younger sisters. She married George Chester Davis on 13 November 1930 in Port Chester, New York. The couple had two daughters, June and Patricia. He died in 1979. She celebrated her 110th birthday in March 2021.
Antoinette Davis died in Newtown, Connecticut, United States on 25 December 2021 at the age of 110 years, 299 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in the state.
