Anton Kunik [Slovak: Anton Kuník] (13 July 1911 – 2 February 2016) was a Slovakian centenarian who was the oldest known living man in Slovakia at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Anton Kuník was born in Šípkové, Trnava Region, Austria-Hungary (now Slovakia), on 13 July 1911. At some point, he married, and had children. During his working career, he worked as a worker, foreman and manager at the Trikotka company.

On 23 September 2014, following the death of 105-year-old Jozef Daniška, he became the oldest known living man in Slovakia.

Anton Kuník died in Vrbové, Trnava Region, Slovakia, on 2 February 2016, at the age of 104 years, 194 days. Following his death, then 104-year-old Rudolf Kósa became the oldest known living man in Slovakia.
