After her marriage she immediately moved to France, to Montbrison, in the Loire region, for work reasons.

In 1963 she returned to Italy, a few months later at the age of 49 her husband died due to an illness. From here she always took care of the family, also working as a waitress in a local restaurant.

On 19 July 2024 she turned 110 becoming a supercentenarian at the time she had 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren she was still lucid and had no significant medical conditions. She lived at home with her son-in-law Umberto (Giuseppina's husband), and loved playing with children and telling them stories.

A few months before her death she had taken the helicopter for the first time to go to the hospital in Bergamo. Then her health conditions worsened.
