Antonio Alvarado Largo (8 July 1912 – 28 September 2022) was a Spanish supercentenarian who was the oldest known living man in Spain at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Antonio Alvarado Largo was born in Remolina, Cremenes, Castile and Leon, Spain on 8 July 1912. He served as a soldier during the Spanish Civil War. He participated in a lot of battles, such as the Battle of the Ebro. He served as mayor of Cremenes between 1987 and 1996.

He became the oldest known living man in Spain, following the death of 112-year-old Saturnino de la Fuente Garcia on 18 January 2022.

Alvarado Largo died in Vegaquemada, Castile and Leon, Spain on 28 September 2022, at the age of 110 years, 82 days. At the time of his death, he was the the third-oldest known living person in Castile and Leon, behind Avelina Lorenzo Berian and Angeles de la Fuente Campo.
