Antonio Benedito da Conceicao (12 June 1905? – 15 September 2018), also known as Antonio Mulato, was a Brazilian supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If his age were validated, he would be the world's oldest living man at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Antonio Benedito da Conceicao claimed to have been born in the community of Mata Cavalo, in Nossa Senhora do Livramento, Mato Grosso, Brazil on 12 June 1905. Allegedly, his parents were freed slaves.

Antonio was married two times and had 13 children in total. His first wife died on 5 December 1944. Manoel Irineu da Conceicao (aged 90 in September 2018) is the eldest son from the first marriage and Eduardo Benedito da Conceicao (aged 55 in September 2018) is the eldest son of the second marriage. His second wife, Xandinha, was born in 1936. According to his family, Antonio ate all kinds of food, but he didn't liked canned food.

In the early September of 2018, he was hospitalized in the city of Varzea Grande. At the end of his life, he suffered from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. At the time of his death, he had 34 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
