Antonio Rudecindo Haro Perez [Spanish: Pérez] (24 April 1913 – 2 March 2021), known as "Don Toño", was a Chilean centenarian who was one of the oldest victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time of his death, he was also one of the oldest known living men in Chile.

Biography[]

Antonio Haro was born in Llaullao, Chiloe Province, Chile on 24 April 1913. He contracted the Spanish Flu when he was five years, together with his family. One of his siblings died from Spanish flu. He had five children (including Gloria Haro).

Antonio Haro died from pneumonia attributed to COVID-19 in Castro, Chiloe Province, Chile on 2 March 2021 at the age of 107 years, 312 days. At time of his death, he had eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
