Antonis Sagonas [Greek: Αντώνης Σαγώνας] (30 September 1910 – 12 November 2018) was a Greek centenarian who at the time of his death was the oldest known living man in Greece.

Biography[]

Antonis Sagonas was born in Petrochori, Thermo, Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece on 30 September 1910. He worked hard during his whole life as a farmer.

He became the oldest known living man in Greece, following the death of 107-year-old Manolis Karastergios on 6 March 2017.

Sagonas died in Petrochori, Thermo, Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece on 12 November 2018 at the age of 108 years, 43 days. Following his death, then 108-year-old Manolis Peponis became the oldest known living man in Greece.
