Ashraf Hasheminejad Moyeddin (16 March 1916 – 28 December 2016) was an Iranian-born Canadian centenarian. She also claims to have one of the longest marriages in the world, at 80 years.
Biography[]
Ashraf Hasheminejad was born in Iran on 16 March 1916. She have gone from living 70 years in Iran with Mohammad doing a stint in the army, to moving to Canada (citation needed). She married her husband Mohammed Mohyeddin (1 October 1906? – 15 August 2019) in 25 July 1936. The couple had eight children, 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. They celebrated their 80th anniversary in 2016.
She was married to her husband from 25 July 1936 until her death on 28 December 2016, which would mean a marriage that lasted 80 years, 156 days. They were one of the world's longest married couple.
Ashraf Hasheminejad Moyeddin died on 28 December 2016, aged 100 years, 287 days.
