Biography[]

Audrey Lott was born in District of Columbia, USA on 18 October 1903. In her youth she went to dunbar high school which at the time was an all black high school. She attended a pharmacology college for a year, thanks to her uncle, since he was a pharmacist, and he paid for her tuition while she worked in his store. Her grandfather was a former slave and a waterboy for Gen. Ulysses S. Grant. She married Clentis Lott in 1947 and had at least one child. Later she moved into an apartment for seniors until she broke her hip when she was 99. Then she moved to a different place.

In October 2013, Lott celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Audrey Lott died in Tiffin, Ohio, USA on 31 October 2013 at the age of 110 years, 13 days.

Lott’s age was verified by Anson Davis, Oliver Trim, and Waclaw Jan Kroczek, and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 23 March 2016.
