Augusta Pellet (née Barthelemy [French: Barthélemy]; 3 July 1913 – 26 August 2023) was a French supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Augusta Pellet was born as Augusta Barthelemy in Aspremont, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France, on 3 July 1913. In July 2023, she celebrated her 110th birthday with members of her family.
Augusta Pellet died in Grenoble, Isere, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France, on 26 August 2023, at the age of 110 years, 54 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Isere department.
