Azhar Omarbayeva (Kazakh: Ажар Омарбаева; 1 January 1910? – fl.8 March 2020) was a Chinese-born Kazakh supercentenarian claim whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Azhar Omarbayeva claimed to have been born in Qing dynasty (China) on 1 January 1910. She had eight children. In 1962, she started working as a shepherd in Tarbagatay District. Following her retirement, she moved to Zharma District.
In 2010, she moved to Semey. In January 2020, she celebrated her claimed 110th birthday. In March 2020, she was visited by the Mayor, Ermak Salimov, during International Women's Day.
Omarbayeva was last known to be alive on 8 March 2020 at the claimed age of 110 years, 67 days. At the time, she lived in Semey, East Kazakhstan Region, Kazakhstan.
