Beatrice Naud [French: Béatrice Naud], known as "Soeur Beatrice" (6 April 1905 – 10 July 2015) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest known person in the province of Quebec, a title she shared jointly with Florilda Desrochers, who died two days before.
Biography
Beatrice Naud was born in Saint-Adelphe, Quebec, Canada on 6 April 1905. Her parents were Casimir Naud and Marie-Anne Baillargeon. She never married nor had children. Religion was very important to her throughout her life.
Following the death of Colombe Benoit-Leclerc on 14 January 2015, she became the oldest known living person in Quebec, a title she shared jointly with Florilda Desrochers.
Beatrice Naud died in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, on 10 July 2015 at the age of 110 years, 95 days. At the time of her death, she was one of the oldest nuns in the world.
