Bernard Victor Delhom (9 July 1885 – 7 February 1996) was a validated French supercentenarian.
Biography
Bernard Delhom was born in Pyrenees-Atlantiques, France on 9 July 1885. He became the oldest known living man in France, and Europe, following the death of Emile Fourcade on 29 December 1995.
Delhom died in Paris, France on 7 February 1996 at the age of 110 years, 213 days. He was the last French survivor of the battle of Verdun, and retired as an officer of the Gendarmeria in 1943.
Following his death, Louis Arthur Bon became the oldest known living man in France, and Valentino Stella of Italy became the oldest known living man in Europe.
