Bertha Shifflet (née Wolfram; 18 September 1913 – 11 November 2023) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Bertha Shifflet was born in Cheviot, Ohio, USA, near Cincinnati, Ohio on 18 September 1913 to Peter and Katherine (née Gimpel) Wolfram, both of whom were immigrants from Eastern Europe (probably Romania).
She was married to Alvin Shifflet until his death in November 1992. They had six children.
In September 2023, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentanarian.
Bertha Shifflet died in Fairfield, Ohio, USA on 11 November 2023 at the age of 110 years, 54 days.
