Bessie Edna Short (neé Coonrod; 10 September 1886 – 2 May 1997) was a verified American supercentenarian.
Biography
Bessie Coonrod was born in Illinois, United States on 10 September 1886. Her parents were John Coonrod and Anna (née Stimpson) Coonrod. She had six siblings.
She married Benjamin Short. The couple had eight children. She got widowed in 1957.
Short died in Seibert, Colorado, United States on 2 May 1997 at the age of 110 years, 234 days.
